It's getting so hot!!!! Wow that happened so fast!! Now for today's choice of song. I find it so difficult to apologize, don't get me wrong, I do apologize. It's just the moment's leading up to the actual apology that make me very tense. So today I thought I'd feature one of my favourite musician's song that speaks volumes about forgiveness. Enjoy!! I've always been a fan of Jennifer Hudson. Her voice is amazing. When I finally watched Sex and The City, The Movie and saw Louise from St. Louis and her fashionista self I was so excited that it became one of my all time favourite movies. I haven't watched Dreamgirls yet but from the reviews I hear she was great.  I love this dress which she wore to the opening night of the Smith Centre for the Performing Arts. Did you watch her at the 2012 Grammy Awards as she sang a tribute to Whitney Houston? I've been seeing shades of yellow a lot as a summer colour and I can honestly say I'm in love. I had a yellow phase some time ago and still have some of the things I bought then. I'll have to include them in my summer wardrobe. This is one of those songs that I've been wanting to sing a capella. I'm still doing voice training but I've noticed a great improvement from when I started. My next project will be to perform this song. Hope you're all having a wonderful Tuesday! xo Audrey

With the demise of one of my all time favourite artists just a few days ago, I had to dedicate this week's Current Fixations to her. Rest In Peace Whitney Houston. You left a huge mark in the music industry and taught an entire generation what good music is. This is the song that I used for voice training and was my first steps towards singing.

I was reading a blog post on Already Pretty about how we speak to and treat our bodies and this episode of Glee came to mind. Sally of Already Pretty was comparing how we speak to and treat our bodies to how we do the same to our friends. It got me thinking. I should speak and treat my body as my best friend with all the things I consider "flaws" which are essentially not flaws but what makes my body uniquely mine. If I treat my friends as harshly as I treat my body, nobody will want to be around me. My body is my friend, I have to treat it as such. Love your body and be confident in it. Highlight what you are most proud of and learn to accept and love what you don't fancy. Happy Tuesday!! xo Audrey

These few days I've been nursing myself back to health so I decided to take a little break from outfit posts (which I had decided to make more regular) and do more styling posts and write a little about body image. However when I can I'll try to make a few outfit posts. I'm spending my time catching up on my reading and a few other organizational issues that I've had pending. Anyway, back to today's post, I was reading some very inspirational post today and this Il Divo song popped into my head. I love Il Divo. Their music is just epic! Add a collaboration with Celine Dion, one of my all time favourite female musicians and you get a masterpiece.
