Hi all!! Today I feel more like myself than I have all week, I just had to pull out one of my new dresses and rock it along with a huge smile on my face. OK, maybe it's because I have a feeling today will end on a good note. I have my fingers crossed. I bought this dress in Gikomba market last Friday. My BFF Maureen and I decided to treat ourselves and we had a blast. I wore it to work and paired it with my off-white peep-toe heels. I added a belt to add a little shape to the dress because I realized it was a little big along the bodice.  Delicate earrings, a shambala and simple ring completed the look.  Hi all!! I hope you are as excited as I am for Christmas which is 5 days away. I have a flu and it got worse yesterday. I reached the office and had to go back home before the end of the day.  I needed to be extra warm on this day so I wore my dusty pink pants, checked top, shrug and grey turtle neck. I accessorized with a black belt, black boots and purple handbag, embellished earrings and my watch and bracelet, which I wear everyday. I chose this look as a way to cheer myself up. I didn't want to dampen my spirits anymore than I already am. What do you wear when you aren't feeling 100%?  Hi all!!! Yesterday was one of those that I would have rather stayed at home than leave the house. It started raining cats and dogs just when I got into the bus on my way to work, and when I got out it was still pouring. I even got splashed on by an inconsiderate driver!!!  But thank God I had dressed appropriately. I chose this black skirt and paired it with a orange cowl-neck sweater which has pockets infront, stockings and ankle boots (I think these are called heeled brogues, anybody??)  I'm suffering from a flu so I threw on this trench coat as I was leaving the house for added warmth. Thank God I did because I'd have been soaked otherwise. What do you wear when it's raining cats and dogs? Let me know in the comments, I'd love some ideas. Maybe this is brought about by the fact that I absolutely love this dress. The fit is perfect!!! And pairing it with my favourite light-weight jacket, a sequin scarf and tan heels just about made my day. Hi all!! How's your Thursday?? I'm having a public holiday hangover!!! I need my bed, but work and the blog awaits so goodbye to being lazy. I wore this outfit to work today. I went for a long walk yesterday in Karura Forest and had a blast. The only setback is that I went back home in pain. My legs have gone on strike and I had no choice but to drag myself to work today. Hi all!! Are you as excited as I am that it's nearly the weekend? Lately I've been leaning towards wearing more skirts and dresses than trousers. This doesn't mean that I don't wear trousers, it's just that I'm beginning to prefer wearing more feminine pieces. I guess what with my not so new job and my changing lifestyle, my style choices are changing.  I wore this striped navy dress as a skirt and paired it with a cowl neck top and mustard-yellow sweater to the office yesterday. I'm becoming a pro at wearing dresses as skirts and vice-versa.
