It's that time of year again. December. I've really been looking forward to this month because it means Christmas!!!! I love Christmas:) For many this is the time to spend with the family and for those of us who'll be far away from family, with our adopted families.

The options are endless but this is what I've come up with. What can you think of adding to your wardrobe to make mark this festive season?
This post wasn't meant to be about Christmas but I couldn't help myself because Christmas is in 24 days! Can you believe it? Just the other day we were ringing in the new year! Anyway, I'm digressing. With the festivities come various parties which you could be invited for. These usually mean you'll need something to wear that is a little different from the usual suit or jeans and a t-shirt. But this doesn't necessarily mean you have to dig into your pockets (which may or may have not reached their limit). If you take the time, maybe one Sunday. go through your closet you could probably find something you've put on once and then jammed it at the back of your closet. By mixing and matching pieces that you already own and adding maybe one or two new things you can come up with a number of party outfits that will last you through the holiday season.
Paint your nails with a glitter nail polish of your choice.

Add a red lipstick to your make up to look extra festive. And to ensure your lips stand out, keep the rest of your make-up minimal.
Some party-inspired heels. Red and gold make me think so much of Christmas.
Or flats if you prefer.

Throw in some party accessories like a sequin or envelope clutch in black and gold or a red metallic cross body bag...
