In a previous post, I told you about a students reunion I attended. We had a thanksgiving ceremony, with prayers at Church followed by a meeting and dinner. The weather had started getting warmer so I decided to break out this ethnic Indian skirt. Come to think of it, I seem to be wearing quite a few ethnic outfits.
When I took these photos, it was really windy, pardon my hair.
I paired it with a cotton tee shirt and a waist coat.
When I bought this waist coat, it was too big on me. So I altered the size myself. I was so excited when I completed the alteration and couldn't wait to wear it. I love the embroidery on the waist coat and the cut out at the back.
To accessorize, I wore chandelier earrings, a black cross, my wood bangles and sandals.
I had such a great time that day. I'm thinking of new ways to dress up this skirt. Any ideas??
