The past
two weeks have been very hectic. I’ve just moved back home after living in
India for almost four years, so you can imagine how much packing, unpacking,
and giving away I’ve had to do. I feel like I’m starting life anew, which I
guess I am.
The day
I was leaving India, last Friday night, I read something that really gave me
peace: you should let go of the past in order to make room for the future.
Holding onto the past and not forgiving anyone who crossed me will only prevent
me from moving forward in life.
So now I’ve
been home for three days and I’m still feeling a little jetlagged but I’ve
decided not to let myself feel discouraged when the going gets tough, which I
am mentally prepared for.
I’ve
been travelling a lot so I think I’ve become somewhat of an expert on what to
wear when travelling. So this past weekend when I was getting ready for a long
flight, I went for comfort, obviously, as well as functionality. There is
nothing I hate more than having to remove my belt when I pass through airport
security. So I wore my skinny jeans, a t-shirt and rubber shoes. I tried to
make the outfit a little interesting by adding a red and gold beaded necklace. While
in transit, I put on a sweater and socks. I can’t stay in an air-conditioned
room for very long without catching a cold.
Have a great week ahead.
