Hi all!!
This week I decided to take part in the Independent Fashion Bloggers (IFB) project to give you a glimpse of what is in my jewellery box.

| Earrings from:1. Gift from India, 2. Identity at Village Market, 3. Super Cosmetics |
I've been doing a little spring cleaning and I've given out many of my older jewellery pieces to make room for new ones. So these are just a few of my current favourites.
| Gloria Vanderbilt watch and bracelet set; gift |
I collect my jewellery from everywhere. Be they high-end pieces or worth 20 shillings, if I like it I will get it.
Some of them were gifts from friends and relatives. Even though I am very picky when it comes to buying jewellery, I trust that those close to me know my style or I show them what I like, so they can have an idea when they go shopping.

How do I select what to buy?
I buy my jewellery in phases: I have an earrings phase, a necklaces phase, a bracelets and bangles phase and a ring phase. I think at the moment I'm between an earring, necklace and bangles phases.
I prefer to buy unique pieces that I will have for a long time.

Where do I buy my jewellery?
Some of my jewellery pieces are my go to every day pieces and some I save for special occasions.
I buy them from almost anywhere although I have identified some places that will always have interesting pieces: Nakumatt Lifestyle, there are two shops opposite Tuskys Beba Beba, Uchumi Aga Khan Walk and several stalls at Khoja as well as from hawkers. What can I say, I can't pass up a good bargain.
