Happy new month lovelies!
I
hope February has started off well for all of you. There are times when
your wardrobe just isn't working for you anymore. Do you sometimes lose
the feeling of excitement that came when you initially bought that
dress or shirt or even shoes? I do. There are mornings when I find
myself struggling to decide on what to wear even when I have mountains
of clothes to choose from. I have realized that the only way to counter
these feelings, is to get exciting clothes i.e. clothes that have some
detail of interest.
When I bought this dress, I was 50/50 about it. In fact my sister
insisted that I buy it. And with the current heat that we are
experiencing in Nairobi, it is so easy to hit a slump and wear just
about anything in an effort to keep cool. I wore this to Church two
Sundays ago. I paired it with low-heeled wedge sandals and a purple
patent leather handbag. I have a backlog of posts. I just got my laptop back and I'm soooo happy. I am also going through a transitional phase at the moment. I moved house so there is so much to do. Even as I type this, there are boxes waiting to be unpacked. And to top it all off, I went for my doctor's appointment yesterday and I was told that I have water retention that is causing my blood pressure to increase. I have been given medication and I'm trying to take it easy, something I don't have much of a choice seeing as my finger joints are very painful. But as the baby is coming soon, I am hoping that everything will be OK by the time I am going for my next appointment.
Wishing you a fantastic week!
Thank you for stopping by.
