AUDREY'S STYLE: Sheer Blue With Accents of Red

Hello lovelies!
With each passing day, I can't help but marvel at how fast time flies. This was most evident last Sunday when I was looking for something to wear to Church. As much as I have struggled to pick myself up post-baby, there are times when I just don't feel like trying. But when I finally added some red accessories to my collection, I just had to colour-block. I bought these red earrings and watch and bracelet set from my cousin on Saturday and couldn't make up my mind on whether to do a  black, white and red combo or to wear this blue sheer dress with accents of red. The blue dress won and I added black sandals and handbag to complete my outfit.

A labour of love: Long days, bee stings and a global premiere

“Amkeni” roughly translates to “Rise Up” in Kiswahili. This is the call of Chambuko Amkeni, a community-led conservation group involved in mangrove restoration and protection. In 2025, I had the honour of working with them to document their journey on women’s leadership in coastal and marine conservation, climate change adaptation and the blue economy, for a collaboration between Mission inclusion and the BBC StoryWorks'   for the   Living Legacy Series . This was my first time working on a project of this magnitude not to mention one that would have a global audience. To say this has been one of the highlights of the last two years is an understatement. Just thinking about it, my heart swells with pride. Five Books I Want To Read in 2019

My love for reading books has always been bubbling beneath the surface and it has finally blown over. I've not always been a great reader. To make matters worse, motherhood has given me even less time for leisure activities like reading. However, I started pushing myself a bit and now I make time to read.  I find it a good use of time to read while in the matatu, when I take myself on a lunch date or when my eyes need a rest from constantly staring at a screen.  This year, I have decided to challenge myself a bit more by documenting the books I have read and loved as well as have a running list of books that I would love to read.
