Hello lovelies! For me to wear skirts, they must have something of
interest that makes them stand out. I'm not a huge fan of skirts and
only recently added them to my wardrobe. I bought this skirt last year
but it was too big for me. I had intentions of altering it a bit but I
couldn't find a way to do so without spoiling it's style. So I left it
alone. After I had Elly, who celebrates her 5 month birthday today, I
tried it on once again and it fitted. I have worn it once before and
this time it begged to make a debut on the blog.
I paired it with a multi-coloured printed shirt and light pink blazer, white loafers, pink earrings and a drop necklace. I wasn't sure about the shoes but I think the outfit turned out ok. I'm having a bit of a difficult time wearing skirts because I still don't have much of a waistline but I don't want to give up just yet. I love challenges and this is one I am yet to declare defeat.
Outfit Details: Skirt: Botique i2s; Blouse: Bus-Station; Blazer: Kawangware; Loafers: Gift; Earrings: Gift; Necklace: from a friend
Do you sometimes feel like your wardrobe and body are challenging you to step out of the box and try new things? When they don't work, do you accept the challenge and keep trying until you find a solution? Do share in the comments below, on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
Happy Tuesday and thank you for stopping by!
