Happy new month everybody! Colour-blocking became a favorite trend of
mine as soon as I learnt how to mix and match colours (it took a while
but I finally got it). It was love at first sight with this dress. I got
it some time last year but one and thought of giving it to my mum. She
ended up giving it to my sister who wore it once and decided it wasn't
her style so she put it in the donation pile. Well, the long story
short, I happened across it, tried it on and it fit and it was
immediately donated to me!
I wore it on Saturday while attending a Supamamas event. Since the dress speaks for itself: the perfect combination of pink and blue, the ruffled sleeves and not forgetting the wrap-around skirt, I kept my accessories muted with my tan Mary Janes and chocolate brown handbag. I "stole" the necklace from above sister and did my hair in a mohawk which mum later told me was exactly how she used to do her hair when she was in high school. My trusty purple lipstick finished off the look.
