But, let's talk about these suede ankle boots for a moment. They were an impulse buy, one which I don't regret at all. I always look forward to suitable weather so I can wear them. If you have been following my blog from the earlier days, you might remember me saying that I had been struggling to learn how to incorporate ankle boots in my closet. I have had a lot of practice over the years although sometimes I do have some doubts when putting together my outfit.
For this look, I experimented with a pair of straight-leg suede trousers, whose hems I folded. I added a white sweatshirt which I tucked in half-way. This sweatshirt has zippable pockets and the zips are gold. So I opted for this black and gold statement necklace which I had abandoned for quite a while. To finish it off, I wore a bold red lip and styled my hair to one side.
